Anglo Packaging are a local business who, since being established in 1986, continue to expand and grow in customer base and team. Key to the success of their business is their effectiveness to 'roll with the times' and develop a contemporary product range, whilst understanding their customers' needs.

Client's brief

The brief was simple. Boost carrier bag sales through the Anglo Packaging website by creating a bespoke email marketing campaign based around both the stock carrier bag audience and the bespoke carrier bag audience.

Here's what we did

We created several email templates that reflected the brand and tone of Anglo Packaging, which strengthened their brand and increased their exposure. Each email had a very clear message which was tailored to their particular audience. The emails directed potential customers straight to the Anglo Packaging website. They found what they were looking for.

Our results

Not only were the audiences extremely engaged and spent a long time looking through the website, but many of the visitors to the site from the email converted into sales; in fact it had the best conversion rate of all their internet marketing campaigns.

The email campaigns have produced a fantastic return, clearly engaging the audiences and increasing sales. The emails have also been kept and re-opened after they have been originally sent, showing that the emails have connected with the recipient and that they are interested in the contents - even if they don't act on it immediately.

The email marketing campaign that we have run for Anglo has achieved more sales than their Pay Per Click campaign and at a reduces cost per conversion.
