Client's brief
Threshers asked us to design and develop an email marketing campaign around their Christmas marketing activities to increase sales of gift vouchers to B2B customers.
Here's what we did
- We designed email templates based around Thresher's brand identity and focusing on their corporate market and staff incentives.
- We ran and managed several different email broadcasts from their own mailing lists and 3rd party mailing lists.
- We tracked each broadcast individually using Google Analytics so that Threshers could see user trends and conversion from each email marketing campaign.
- Our email marketing system tracked all email broadcast information from opening rates, click through rates, links clicked on, who went to the site, unsubcribers and subscribers for each campaign.
- We managed all the email list data keeping up to date with unsubscribers and new subscribers.
Our result
The email marketing campaigns were seen as a success. Threshers could make informed decisions on which mailing lists and market sectors were the most responsive to their offerings and has allowed them to fine tune their campaigns giving even better return on investment.
This was the first time that Threshers actually received a real return on investment data from each campaign. In fact it was the first time they could see in black and white the success of all their internet marketing campaigns individually. They normal only saw the overall sales results from all marketing campaigns together. This information was eye opening to say the least.
