Juretic Crowned SEO Quiz Masters

On December 18th at around 9pm, Juretic Media were crowned SEO Quiz Champions 2008.

The SEO quiz, organised and hosted by Leapfrogg and took place in The Sovereign pub, with several local firms invited including Worth, Nixon McInnes, Propellernet, iCrossing, Fresh Egg and Oban MultiLingual. The competition was tough, but in typical Juretic style the challenge was met head on with gusto and several pints.

In Sam’s words ‘the elite of Brighton’s online marketing agencies were present’ and with the master of ceremonies, Cathy Ma from Yahoo! ready with her list of questions, we were on the edge of our seats.

Six rounds of nail biting questions followed as well as much discussion, debate and heckling.

Vinay was in his element, Rob was beaming, Nev offered his years of experience and knowledge, Martin was on hand to help with design related questions, Ed with the ‘techie stuff’ and I knew the answer to the cake eaten at Christmas by Italians (Panettone in case you were wondering).

Juretic SEO Quiz Masters

Typically we all had a lot of fun and are looking forward, with eager anticipation, to the next quiz.

Thanks to Simon at Leapfrogg for organising the event and to Cathy Ma for being a very patient quiz master.

Culinary delight site gets a makeover and rebuild

Culinary Concepts came to us looking to renovate their existing site. They had had their current site for a few years but wanted to take it forward and improve its whole look and feel.

They had new branding and had carried out some beautiful product and lifestyle photography to complement their range of stunningly designed cutlery and homeware.

The new designs were extensivley analysed to allow an easy click path for customers and to make room for enlarged versions of the new product imagery. We also took their branding and looked at ways in which we could improve on the information architecture of their current site, to improve retention and conversion rates.

The site was also integrated with Protx online payment processing gateway which allows a secure online transaction to take place, removing the need for manual payment processing.

The result is an easily navigable ecommerce solution which works and looks good.
