Juretic tones up with JTX Fitness Vibration Plates

NRS Innovations (which stands for ‘Not Rocket Science’) came to Juretic looking for an ecommerce website through which they could promote their JTX Fitness brand and retail their vibration plates.

NRS Innovations were keen to build on the JTX Fitness brand that they had already started to develop. The JTX Fitness vibration plates were already being sold through Amazon and eBay, but the team were keen to have somewhere to promote the brand as well as raise awareness of the benefits of vibration exercise machines.

We embarked on the project working closely with the JTX Fitness team, establishing exactly how they wanted to develop their brand. We pin pointed their likes and dislikes to ensure that the website would give potential customers a sense of the company.

The website has been built using Magento and not only allows the user to buy the vibration power plates, but also gives them valuable information on each of the machines. There is a comparison tool that allows you to compare the products and an image scroller that gives you the chance to see the power plate machines up close.

The site also has a blog so that JTX Fitness customers can be kept up to date with industry news, product developments and power plate exercises. This is also a great way of adding new content and keeping the site well optimised for search. We have also set up an Adwords campaign, a Twitter and Flickr account (more to come), and submitted the power plates to Google Product search which will allow the team to increase brand exposure.

What started as a sketch of four very questionable power plates (currently pinned to the wall of the NRS Innovations office) has evolved into the website that you see today. Check it out for yourself and let us know what you think.

Here’s what JTX Fitness had to say

“We came to Juretic with a requirement to develop, launch and market our first web-site. Working with them has been stress free and fun and we still aren’t quite sure how they turned such a vague brief into such a perfect site! They were totally focussed on our aims and were able to keep the project moving by meeting their deadlines and (gently!) reminding us about ours. The project ran smoothly thanks to good communication and an excellent project system – Basecamp. This on-line system stores all the project messages, files, tasks and deadlines in one place and we found it to be really useful and easy to use.

Choosing which agency to use to develop and market our first website was a really big decision for us, but we have no regrets whatsoever. The site is great, we are making sales and are looking forward to a long, fun and (hopefully!) successful relationship with them.”

Juretic makes communication stylish with Maikai

We would like to introduce you to ‘Maikai’, (pronounced ‘my-ky’) our new iPhone & iTouch Case website. The word Maikai originates from Hawaii and means ‘handsome, beautiful, goodness, benefit’ & ‘toward the ocean’.

After spending many years designing, developing and marketing e-commerce websites we decided to practice what we preach and setup our own online e-commerce venture. The idea came about when we where searching Google for iPhone cases and saw that there wasn’t any company specialising in selling high quality designer iphone cases – most just sold the cheap market stall style iphone cases.

We have built the site on the open source e-commerce platform Magento. We have integrated Magento with our eBay and Amazon shops allowing us to fulfil orders from multi sales channels through one central back office system.

The site has also been designed for iPhone web surfers too. The site automatically detects if someone is browsing with an iPhone then show the iPhone version. The iPhone version is a fully functioning e-commerce website that has had the design & user experience optimised for iPhones – how cools is that!?!

Products-wise, Maikai stocks a plethora of stylish iPhone and iPod Touch cases in a variety of colours and textures. The portfolio of cases range from the carbon ‘Twine’ series (that currently adorns my iPhone) and the stylish leather ‘Vogue’ series, to the silicone ‘Liquid’ range and the hard cases with their metallic finishes.

As the first of many Juretic Media websites, we have fully utilised the skillset of our team as we whole from concept, through design and development, to launch and marketing. Future plans for Maikai include campaigns for PPC, SEO, and Social Media.
