James Fittall set up Quercus Furniture (Quercus is the Latin name for Oak) in early 2007.

Quercus build stunning hand made tables using traditional hand tools. They work with the philosophy of enhancing the natural beauty of wood.

Client's brief

Quercus had only been in business for a few months and we had just designed their new website. James needed an marketing strategy that would give them a good return on investment and the brand exposure needed to make the business a success. James had already spent a lot of money on advertising in magazines such as Sussex Life, which was creating very few sales or enquiries.

Here's what we did

We created a niche Pay per Click campaign based around highly relevant keyword phrases such as "Handmade Oak Tables" and set a small budget of £200 for the month.

We integrated Google Analytics to accurately track the response and the keywords used to find the website.

We gave Quercus full visibility and access to the Pay per Click campaign so that they could understand the way the Pay per Click campaign worked and view the best converting keywords.

The results

Quercus started receiving emails and phone call enquiries straight away and soon stopped all other forms of advertising. They now just use Pay per Click marketing as it gives the best return on investment and highest quality of enquiries.
