The Stag Company

The Stag Company was created by three guys who over the course of a year had to organise a stag weekend for their mates. Having undertaken this task and understanding how difficult it can be, they decided to set up The Stag Company and have now been helping chaps to organise stag and hen weekends to remember for 5 years.

Client's brief

With stag parties and hen weekends taking place every weekend, the key is to find people who are organising stag events and point them in the direction of The Stag Company and the sister site, HenHeaven. But where would you find such people? The internet...

Here's what we did

FaceBook is a powerful Social Networking tool that enables you to reach different people and this can be broken down by town, country, likes, dislikes and more. Bearing this in mind, we went about establishing The Stag Company and HenHeaven on FaceBook as a site to help you if you were organising a stag or a hen weekend.

We created a fans page, with a profile about The Stag Company and one for HenHeaven, with videos, content about packages and links to the site. We also joined stag weekend and hen party groups and told them about The Stag Company and HenHeaven respectively, and the kind of packages and activities that are available and the different locations. We used the specific criteria that people define themselves with to help them to find the right kind of stag and hen weekend event for them.

In addition we added The Stag Company to YouTube and their famous Stag Angels.

Our results

4.77 pages viewed per visit
3.23 minutes spent on the site by the average user
27.19% bounce rate

The campaign had a low bounce rate so it was clear that the audience was qualified and that this was a good brand exposure exercise. Users also spent on average over 3 minutes on the site, which shows that they were interested as does the fact that they were keen to look at different pages. The task has started to establish The Stag Company a community on FaceBook and give them the brand exposure they want.
