Harvey Studios

Belinda Harvey is an awarding photographer in Hampshire, specialising in portraits, wedding and special occasions.

Belinda holds awards from Agfa, Photo Training Overseas, Kodak (including the Kodak Gold Award for Excellence) and the Federation of European Professional Photographers (QEP).

Client's brief

Design and develop a website that would be easy and intuitive to use. It should showcase her work and allow visitors to make online booking requests and download price list.

Here's what we did

We decided that it would be best to let Belinda's work take the focal point of the website and let the photography do the talking. The design of her website frames her work, without taking away from it or fighting for attention.

The navigation is made extremely simple and clear, allowing users to get to anywhere on the website within 3 clicks.

The site uses flash to display the galleries of her work in each section, giving the website a smooth feeling of motion.
