Senior Designer
Mart Gordon
I like graphical media of all types, be it, comic books, films or great works of art, the more irreverent the better.
A little bit about me...
I come from a music background having pursued an education in music and music technology. I spent some time working in recording studios before pursuing a career in Design.
I have previously worked as the Lead Designer for Ministry of Sound and have worked on campaigns and designs for, among others, BBC, Philips, Sol Beer, Kangol, NHS, Civil Service, CIM, Channel 4, GlaxoSmithKline and Guinness. One site that I worked on for the NHS was www.stepintothenhs.nhs.uk where I worked on the design and flash development extensively, this site went on to win an NMA Effectiveness award for the best recruitment site thanks to the innovative presentation of the content.
I admire creativity in all its forms but especially enjoy music, graphical art [low or high end] and comedy. I am the Senior Designer at Juretic and am responsible for making all our products as visually appealing as possible.
I am usually found...
with a hat on and quite often playing or painting with my 2 year old daughter.
What Jen says about me...
I don't think that Martin actually has any hair as he always wears a hat. Maybe he just sticks bits to the bottom of his hat? I like Martin's hats.
Martin and I share a love of music and when everyone else in the office asks me 'What on earth is this?' when I have put on my ipod, Martin will say 'I like this Jen, what is it?'.
Martin is great to bounce ideas off and he is always enthusiastic and willing to help. He is an invaluable part of the team who is never short of a creative gem or two.
