Director
Neven Juretic
I started programming games on my Sinclair ZX80 in the early 80's, aged 13 and 3/4.
I'm still particularly proud of my first space invaders game.
A little bit about me...
In my early life I started a HND in Computer Programming, but left after 6 months to become a Professional windsurfer. After several years of being a professional beach bum, I moved on and started a real job with the sports media agency that ran the Professional Windsurfers Association. I was in charge of digital media and distribution; making sure that the events got maximum exposure around the world for the sponsors.
I still love getting in the water today and make sure that I go on a windsurfing road trip at least once year with my family and friends to hunt out warm water, wind and waves. Nowadays I'm not so interested in learning new tricks but more concerned whether I still fit into my wetsuit!!
I am usually found...
At Juretic I mostly look after new clients and bring new projects into the company. The most favorite part of my job is launching new websites and watching them work their magic for our clients. It also never fails to make me smile when a clients website starts to rank number 1 on Google.
One of the things I find most annoying at work is Jen & Rob's ability to drink me under the table on a night out.
What Ed says about me...
Nev has a lot of trust in us as a team and gives us the freedom to produce some great work. He also has the knack of bringing out the best in people and helping them to realise their full potential. Nev has a wealth of knowledge and experience in the industry and regularly imparts this to us, advising us with different projects and campaigns across several disciplines.
Nev is a great boss to work for and I know that I speak for the whole team when I say that any boss that actively encourages 'beer o'clock' on a Friday afternoon is alright by us. :)
