A little bit about me...
After a short spell studying forensic science at a London Medical School I gravitated towards travel and spent 10 years in Greece as a Waiter, a Lifeguard and a teacher of both English and Greek Languages, also attending the University of Crete and gaining a degree in Modern Greek Language, History and Literature.
I started out in a career in the early days of ecommerce and saw the company I worked for grow from 5 orders on a good day to 100 orders a day on average.
It was a steep learning curve and I was fortunate to see how the logistics of payment processing and order fulfilment worked hand in hand with Search Engine Optimisation and Pay per Click campaigns to allow the company to grow, keep up with trends and changes and to increase traffic whilst keeping customers happy at the same time. I now oversee the development of new projects and updates to existing websites, keen to improve their traffic, retentions and conversion rates.
Web development is a multi skilled industry and we face exciting challenges with a skilled team.
Project Management is like overseeing the making of a cup of tea, you just need to be sure that the right ingredients are present, you have a kettle and a mug, and that you have an uninterupptible power source and that you have someone willing to make it and let you take the credit.
I am usually found...
My main loves are my children ( and of course their mum ) who have replaced my previous priorities which were a deep dedication to sport, philosophy and reading newspapers leisurely in pubs.
What Rob says about me...
If Juretic Media was an engine, Sam would definitely be the oil that keeps the wheels and cogs turning. He juggles most of the client liaison and project management work that comes with working for a bustling company such as Juretic, adds to the marketing mix by writing a multitude of articles every month, (many with bizarre angles on mundane topics), and keeps us all laughing with his sometimes controversial sense of humour.
